REPORT SITES WITH FREE AUDIO BOOKS-Help create a Wiki directory
What the WWW needs is a Wiki directory/catalog of websites offering public domain audio books to the public. This idea is being discussed on LibriVox and most likely many other sites. If you know of a site that offers public domain audio books, read- free and no longer under copyright, please post a comment here with the link! Your help is appreciated!

BTW, I think it would be useful for us to also have listings of CC, GPL, and other more-or-less open content rights-managed works, as well as the public domain works. Those count as “accessible” and “public” as far as I’m concerned, and such releases are the kinds of things which would, for example, make me think twice about rerecording.
